Half UK is on standard tariff for gas and electricity. Switching saves the average customer £200, that’s an annual nationwide saving of £5 Billion !! Never mind about price capping.Just educate the population about switching to BEST tariff That’s a lot of extra disposable income

Totally useless cap. Whatever ofgem does is totally inadequate and if it does cost the rip off energy suppliers anything they will claw it back in other ways to keep their shareholders well feathered

In the last twelve months the energy companies have raised there prices by £150. That's after government promises to cap prices. Which means a standard tariff customer will be £75 worse off. Switching energy suppliers could save up to £250. You're miss reporting as usual. Stop!

Is that achieved by increasing the cap days before the publication of the rates? They care not a jot for the ordinary person in fuel poverty.
