My great grandmother just bought a bear, it cost her £104. Pay your age is totally unfair on the elderly. #ripoff #buildabear #furious

If they can afford to sell bears for as little as £1 (potentially), it clearly shows how overpriced the bloody bears are in the first place.

Took her 5 year old out of school because they aren't doing much at that age? Of course they are. Every minute of learning at that age is so important, perhaps she should go back to school.

A 5-hour queue to get a £52 bear for just a few quid? I’d much rather pay full price to a vendor without a queue.

How many of these parents spend 20-40 quid a week on cigs or booze but won't spend full price on a bear and spend all day queuing.

Victims of their own success. No doubt scores of people will complain as if the shop can somehow fix an issue of hundreds of people arriving at once.

Yep lol. We've got mates at work and one of them said the queue was 4 hours in white rose lol. 4 fucking hours to save about 20 quid. Could understand if you were saving 200 quid lol

People know you can get cheap teddy bears anywhere right? Then buy clothes for them at a charity shop right? RIGHT?!!! You have your own build a bear.

I think it's a nice idea but perhaps they should have limited the amount of people able to sign up beforehand. You can't blame parents wanting to buy their little ones a treat at a heavily discounted cost just ahead of the school hols really...
