What would Labour do differently? Bail out the high street?
-
People are feeling the pinch so they’ll choose to go to less expensive shops. For those who lose their jobs, I feel for...Universal credits lurks...

-
Is that a fact? Nothing to do with online retail? Austerity Britain involved the government spending 900bn last year. Must be a very first world pinch.
-
Yes, and online. Can I ask, 900bn on what? They were slow to shift there. Inflation has risen, wages stagnated, food costs have risen, more on zero hours contracts or part time work instead of full time, more homeless than ever before.
-
I think you need to give the latter more attention. Tines are changing with technology. Let me give you some scale. British health and welfare spending alone is larger than the national GDP of all but 27 states. With less than 20% of government spending you could end
-
global poverty and hunger. Inflation hasn't even exceeded 3%. What were high wages have stagnated but unemployment has stayed low. ZHC remain popular with employers/ employees. More should be done about homelessness. Society should act, why wait 4 government? Ur still privileged
-
Your problem isn't a lack of cash. Far from it.

More money being thrown away on a shop that overcharges and underpays. If they can't make enough profit, they need to be shutdown and removed. Unfortunate for the employees, but no point using taxpayers money to pay them...

This was reported weeks ago - not good but why the repetition ?????
-
The first story weeks ago was about the company in financial difficulty, now they’re taking about what has been approved to save the company. Perhaps read the story opposed to the headlines.
