        Schools are not businesses. You need figureheads who understand kids, who get the issues young people face in 2018. Already too much distance between heads and pupils. They need to teach them to know them and understand them, not worry about profit margins.

        What is business going to add to schools if they bring only their extractive approach to financial performance & don't look beyond the short term. Schools require long term approach as their output is 10yrs plus in the making

        There is one major issue ... role of governors in academy schools is diminished with responsibilities taken away... personal view is role of governors for academies should be increased as independent ambassadors for the school and community! @DamianHinds
