    There are 40 minute delays on the approach to this incident above usual journey times spanning 5.5 miles back to J12 / . This is also beginning to impact the joining the M60.

    A man aged 46 from Wythenshawe has been arrested by police investigating the rape of a woman in her 20's on Marriott St in Withington 12 days ago. He was arrested with the help of officers from Humberside and W Yorkshire. A Seat Ibiza car spotted on CCTV has also been recovered.

    Police investigating an arson attack on flats in Rossendale have released CCTV of 2 men they want to talk to. They think the attack in Waterfoot on March 22 was a case of mistaken identity. A 34-year-old suspect from Bacup has been released under investigation. Here's the CCTV:
