This is a really big win for the Home Secretary. But the story is not over. The semi-secret national security assessment of what threat Shamima Begum allegedly poses is still to be fully scrutinised by the semi-secret court that deals with those appeals.

(It's worth noting before we get into today's story that the BBC has learned The Sun won't face Contempt of Court for receiving a leak of the previous judgment in the Begum case - quite a big deal that in its own terms. The leak came from government. See above story)
