Is this a new thing or were they just not reported all that much before? Cars hitting pedestrians seems to be a daily occurrence now.
-
It's almost like if traffic accidents happen daily, and most people misjudge the likelyhood of occurance of terror attacks.
-
It's so frustrating - I've been checking all over and NPR in the US is the only outlet that mentions it wasn't terrorism in the headline.
-
I'm against the 'Fake News' bashing, but I do think we have a serious clickbait problem that's getting people all fired up over nothing.
-
This, of course, doesn't make it any better for those affected by this accident, and my love and prayers go out to them.
-
Obviously, that goes without saying. All the better for the victims, but this wouldn't be a major headline 7 years ago.
-
Totally agree. Just wanted to clarify as I realised 'over nothing' might be insensitive. It's a shame news plays to our worst sensibilities.

Religion of Peace again?

Last truck attack was a white supremacist. So... let's not be too hasty. And last fatalities in MA by car was an old guy using wrong pedal

Yadda yadda yadda

Facts hurt, huh?

Taxi driver of Peace?

Give up. You are deluded and can't see it.

so you are just reporting traffic accidents across the world in the hope its terror?
-
Pretty much. Hear car accident and it's world news because it could be. Plus fear mongering is a business model with news outlets
-
aye and thats probably the reason ive not bought a newspaper in years
-
Last Week Tonight actually recently covered this. Check out their Sinclair Media video on YouTube.
