Horrible for the parents, but the right decision.

How it rite decision if was your baby you would try anything possible to try keep baby alive o even try make him better
-
When it causes more suffering to the child with no realistic prospect of success it is the right decision.
-
Would u just give up miracles happen though if was my baby I do anything
-
I wouldn't give up no, but I'd hope someone would step in to help me make the right decision for my baby.
-
No one should make a decision apart from the parents in my eyes
-
I get the emotion behind that but it is a dangerous road. Parents can't do anything they want to child just because they believe it right
-
Parents shouldn't be able to override medical professionals on medical grounds. Second opinions? Yes. Override and ignore? No.

this is ludicrous & outrageous. What ever happened to human rights! The parents have a right to give their child a chance!

-
There is no chance. Just an experiment even the Dr says won't cure him and may at most give a few months more suffering.
-
how do you know? Human bodies are amazing things, imagine if he was your child
-
There is literally no cure for the disease, though. It is sad, but there really is no hope. If he was my child I'd let him rest in peace.
-
Well how nice for you that you'd get to decide if he "were your child" He's not, let the ppl who gave him life decide.

The parents should have the right to take their son to the US for treatment. The State should not be playing god.
-
"The State should not be playing god" - God doesn't exist. Additionally, medical professionals have given the reasoning behind it.
-
Ahhh, so the courts, the Government gets to decide your fate. That's what happens when the Gov controls healthcare. Evil

Everyone getting on their Moral High Ground on behalf of the parents but who says this isn't tantamount to abuse on poor Charlie!
-
Exactly this isn't about the parents it's about the child he has no chance of getting better why make him suffer any longer.
-
Quite - it should have been about advocating for him ... not advocating to keep him alive as long as they can/could!
