Serious Question: Is there a substantive difference between a "hate crime" and a "terrorist act"?
-
Good question. Terrorism should be defined as attack against multiple people based on faith/sexuality/gender/race/etc, I believe
-
If only an attack on one person I believe it would be classified as hate crime? Happy to be corrected though
-
Terrorism is an attack against people that is politically motivated, to incite a response by a country or put pressure on/affect policy
-
Ok, thanks. Has to be politically motivated, is that the destinction? (No shade just hoenestly wondering)
-
Yes. Which this is.
-
Thanks!
