@ThunkinOutloud 100% agree. My daughter has Sleep Apnea, she's 6yo I sleep with her every night, terrifyingly real!

My little girl sleeps with me or if she is in her own room I don't sleep listening to the monitor!
-
If the machine works, why deprive yourself of sleep? Do the easiest thing (she's little, cuddle up!) so you're *your* best during the day!
-
Cuddles are fab
it's hard & scary too but that's what Mum's do, we deal with it. Love 2 U all
-
Plus! It helps a child feel safe and the machine just part of "Mom time." Maybe not at 12, but for a few years yet more? It's all good!

You and I need to come to some sort of agreement as to what "BREAKING NEWS" means

Groundbreaking reporting, BBC.

It's news to me...I'm 58 & living with sleep apnea for years. I get 3-5 hours a night and it is said it will take 10 years off your life.

Go get that sleep study, especially if you snore. Sleep Apnea is no joke: why force your body to fight suffocation every night??
-
That CPAP is easily the best thing I have ever done for myself.
-
I agree the CPAP changed my life. If I fall asleep without it now I feel awful. Issue is I had to fight GP to a referral to sleep clinic
-
Yep: it's a racket. Once you have a machine, shouldn't need any more referrals to a clinic. Sleep Apnea is for life.

This is breaking news, why? Breaking News should be reserved for important national and international stories of consequence. This is not
-
For a lot of people, it is. It also highlights the very real dangers of sleep apnea.
-
It's not BREAKING NEWS, it might warrant news, but it certainly is NOT something of such high importance to be styled such.
-
Again, it is for a lot of people.
-
Dear oh dear
