I'm not a royalist but well done Ma'am. Mother of the nation. Where is our PM??

She's visiting the injured in hospital
-
She should have met the residents yesterday not hide behind "security risks"
-
Sadiq Khan tried doing that, he was mobbed by protestors and police had to divert resources to protect him. It would of been less beneficial
-
She is the PM. Used security as excuse not to meet. HM gets straight in there.

Yeah it was and I'm sure he wouldn't have got it half as bad if she hadn't hidden away and just faced the public

I'm no royalist but admire how the queen has no qualms about rolling her sleeves up and meeting the poor people affected. Take note Theresa!
-
Fully agree. 91 years old and still showing how it's done
-
That's true royalty.

So safe enough for the Queen and Prince William to visit but not for the PM...
-
Funny how a 91 year old can manage it, but not the PM. Perhaps she is too fragile to be PM & should be replaced? Just a thought.

does the queen's smiling handshake bring any real comfort to the distressed bereaved traumatised and now homeless people?
-
Actually - for a wee moment? It probably does.
-
being a non royalist I just don't get it but if some find comfort in her Maj so be it
-
...is the correct, non-ranty, reasonable response. If only everyone on Twitter was, too ;-)

Unlike Theresa...
-
She's going to hospital to meet the injured today Scott.
-
Only after huge anger
-
So basically, whatever she does is wrong.
-
Nobody mentioned anything else she's done, just her reaction this tragedy was appalling.
