Sad to say- rate of that fire. There will be losses. 27 stories high- they have yet to still go in. Still burning
High buildings have always made me nervous. No matter how rundown or new and posh... nope.
My hubby ex volunteer firefighter and he says don't stay in anything with more than 8 floors. Ladders can't reach any higher 2 save u
Good advice. I try for ground floor since knee and hip operations, not that fast anymore.
Good plan of yours
This tragedy should initiate the theme - People in very tall buildings should have special parachutes. One must create innovative parachutes
A couple of problems with parachutes one major one being that hot air rises
yes ! Therefore, engineers and specialists should create parachute and Shape of a parachute that which will quickly move away from building
Honestly look into thermodynamics and aerodynamics then speak to anyone who regularly jumps it's not a good idea, this is a h&s fiasco.
in military aircrafts is catapults and technical details provide for safe spreading parachute 25 meters above ground. Building is 70 meters
Then coordinating hundreds of people to jump without collision causing injury or even death and the lawsuits that will come 2/2
You create a better idea. Good luck
The council need to be made accountable for this tragedy, they're too ingrained in the system to care sadly.
One of the richest places on earth yet the ordinary people suffer once again. How the hell does that work? Unbelievable #GrenfellTower
It's called class system
This was 700 plus residents, a fire that occurred a bit after 1am. Less than 200 have been accounted. There will be no happy news.
So sad. Prayers to the victims and their families
