While abuse is never acceptable, working conditions for care workers are abysmal! Pay is bad and hours long, family life near impossible.

Utter rubbish. Not everyone is capable of abuse and money should Never be a factor. Fight for better pay or leave the job.

Not necessarily abuse but definitely neglect - endemic by at least half the staff at all homes my partner has worked at over last 10 years

What is needed is for care workers, and their agency's to be regulated by something like, or indeed by, CQC. How many people know that!!
