@paulajradcliffe has run quicker - please make headline clearer.

Radcliffe's 2:15 was with/against men or alongside men and her 2:17:42 was women-only. And so Keitany has beat that time. Get it?pic.twitter.com/UDNlaAFOFO
-
Why does it make any odds who else, men or women, was running? Surely it's only her time that matters?
-
Men running alongside women is surely different compared to women by themselves. Anyone can surely agree with this reasoning.

-
The fast pace set by men in a mixed race will help increase time by women who keep up with them as opposed to if it was with other women.
-
So what if there's a pacemaker? Does that also invalidate a time?

Erm, except Paula Radcliffe ran it in 2:15:25 in 2003.
-
Erm except she ran against men in that race. Radcliffe women-only record was 2:17:42 and Keitany did 2:17:01 or so.
