so now a Muslim woman won't be allowed to work unless she abandons her religion. We live in dark ages.

Religion is the very definition of dark ages.
-
dark ages is deciding one religion is good and others bad.
-
Which is the very definition of religion.
-
fair point, religions do that, but governments should not.
-
they are not, this ban extends to all religious symbols from what I heard.
-
exactly the issue - violation of personal liberty
-
I'm not allowed to wear a baseball cap at work, we have a dress code. Is this a violation of my personal liberty?

I don't see what's wrong with a headscarf. IT'S CLOTHES! If I knew how to put one on, I'd likely wear one on any bad hair day.
-
They don't allow most hats or hoods in the workplace so idk why religious people should have a different standard.
-
They allow men to wear yarmulkes, no?
-
Read the article you would have known it applies to all religious headgear.pic.twitter.com/8rES9axv5m

Seeing builders ass cracks hanging out offends me more than headscarves. Ban them from wearing trousers with no belt!

-
Nothing quite like spotting a strange beam of light coming from a building site; turns out sun reflections can blind you!

-
pls stop. My phone literally fell from my hand.

-
not fair, i am proud of my ass crack its not easy creating perfection

If the government provide us with free sunglasses, then fine. But we all know that ain't happening

The article is only three paragraphs, folks. Read it before venting.
-
Nope. What's to prevent racist people suddenly implementing an 'all ban' just so they can oppress one group?

-
Sorry? You won't read the article before venting? Fair enough.
-
I have read it. My question stands.
-
Why are you asking me? I don't support banning headscarves and crucifixes. Inconsequential nonsense.
-
Bless. I am disagreeing there is nothing to vent about. A Q on a public forum isnt exclusively directed at you.
-
I didn't say there was nothing to vent about either.I also didn't claim exclusivity. You tagged me I answered.
-
You're right I made assumption; becos I could not imagine how anyone could know if others had read article or not
