@fulelo a lot of cancer sufferers use the term. I don't understand how it is offensive. Moreover it was quoting ITV tweet, not BBC's words. -

@fulelo other wording available, sure, but saying it's insensitive is like taking a popular dish off a menu cuz a few people don't choose it
