@GTAHeathen Desertion carries a max punishment of dishonorable discharge, forfeiture all pay, and confinement of five years if no war. -
@GTAHeathen For desertion during a time of war, however, the death penalty may be applied, (at the discretion of the court-martial). -
@AsatruAlfhild So the real question will be is the US at war or a conflict. Too bad we can't get back a kid who stood his post and paid.
