@BBCBreaking @Tim_Aker All regulatory inspections should be without notice. What next, police telling thieves they're coming to nick them?

@BBCBreaking All inspections should be no-notice, otherwise it's completely pointless. -
@Escaflowne2001 are you a teacher? -
@Paul_Barnard No but I do work at a place that receives inspections and sees a lot of the cover-up that goes on when there's advanced notice

@BBCBreaking What happens if the head or members of SMT at a meeting or INSET? Inspection revolves around their input, not just lessons.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@BBCBreaking Slightly more sensible than "Dear Head we will be arriving at 9am two weeks from today" ffs! -
@Baulked1@BBCBreaking two weeks from today visits haven't happened for years (at least not in Primary schools); Head is called day before -
@frostyinfinity@BBCBreaking Glad to hear it Dave :-) teaching teachers the good old British value of surprise! *tongue firmly in cheek*

@BBCBreaking Should have done these ages ago. Schools have been conning inspectors for years. -
@Kennaz2@BBCBreaking you know nothing ; Primary School inspections have been less than 24 hours' notice for years -
@frostyinfinity@BBCBreaking Sorry, that does not happen at my Wife's school, they get plenty of notice to paper over the cracks. -
@Kennaz2@BBCBreaking also it is not the inspection of the teaching that is the issue, it is the reams of stats/figures that the DfE demand -
@frostyinfinity@BBCBreaking Fella, if that is what your company wants then you do it. Don't like it, get a job somewhere else. -
@Kennaz2@BBCBreaking Company? What are you on about? We're talking about school inspection. Teaching is a vocation not just a job -
@frostyinfinity And believe me, when the auditors (Inspectors) attend. You don't know they are coming. - 2 more replies
