@BBCBreaking Why bother changing it? If you're innocent then you have nothing to hide. Damnit! Like their jobs aren't hard enough. -
@ShamaLamaLamont you'd only say this if you have no idea.
-
@Rhammified I get that there is profiling. However as long as they have the power to stop and search then how does this stop the problem? -
@ShamaLamaLamont how is that effective?
-
@Rhammified They have the police sitting in vans sending speeding tickets. If that isn't a waste of time then I don't know what is. -
@ShamaLamaLamont if you knew the figures on people dying because of reckless driving I'm sure you'd change your mind
-
@Rhammified Sending them a ticket after they're speeding past doesn't stop them. Cars in direct pursuit do. Something that doesn't happen.

@BBCBreaking why not take away their powers and let people run riot! Law and order is just that. If no law, there will be no order. - 1 more reply

@ChrisWright01 erm, the report says there were systematic errors, indicating it was more than "a few". -

@ChrisWright01 it might be expensive, but it will save more money in the long term. - 1 more reply

@BBCBreaking possibly more restrictions for the police? Think how many crimes have been prevented due to stop and search! -
@Stupendous_one not many if you read the Home Office's report last year. The percentage of stops that lead to an arrest were shockingly low. -
@Rhammified was it 10%? If so then how is that not successful? How many crimes did that prevent? -
@Stupendous_one 9% of 1.2 MILLION people. How is that successful? -
@Rhammified successful in the fact that 108000 potential crimes were prevented!?!?! Who knows how serious some may have been! -
@Stupendous_one I'm not saying it needs to be scraped I'm saying the overhaul is justified.
