@nadhimzahawi if schools can open 8th March, why wait until 29th March for "some sports"? Why not allow school sports at the very least as they are mixing anyway? Otherwise makes zero sense

I’m sure they are allowed school activities to happen when schools reopen, we may have to wait to hear the official rules later today however

Why don’t we just wait for Johnson’s announcement later? This was a confusing interview with Zahawi stumbling over words and facts.

More untruths from a government minister,we know from experience that health and social care settings were not provided with adequate PPE and staff were wearing home-made masks.@gmb,@Helen_Whately

Well @BBCBreakfast has its Twitter clip. He filled the interview with the 4 tests. These interviews are now just propaganda. @louiseminchin allowed him to rewrite history over PPE and failed to pull him up . It’s poor journalism.

What about businesses reopening? They expect us to pay the tax and employ people to help recover from their lockdown, but are prioritising opening basketball courts?

I’m so angry to here him say with a straight face that no hospital trusts were without PPE. That is just not true. Why are the @BBCBreakfast @BBCNews letting the govt get away with this?

They just keep selectively quoting the NAO report that no NHS trust went without PPE. Note absence of words "sufficient" or "adequate"
