        No it wasnt. Nationwide was transmitted from Lime Grove in London The midlands regional show that Tom refersto and preceded Nationwide came from Pebble Mill

        Pebble Mill was torn down just 35 years after it was built. Why? DG Birt's Producer Choice placing high 'rental' price on the building and extremely dodgy build quality in the first place, which caused the concrete to deteriorate.
