Nigeria! A country where citizens are lynched to death for snatching bags, but government officials are celebrated for snatching futures. That I think is the real tragedy.

I have been a victim once. I made the grave error or pursuing a bag snatcher , before I knew what was happening, the mob including his friends descended on me and called me thief. It was the first day in my life I almost gave up on Nigeria. Thank God for the police men around.

For a bag snatcher, it is horrible. But this will stop if only the police actually prosecute killers and robbers handed over to them, and courts give justice. People got tired of seeing killers freed after bribing the police. So they took justice in their hands. Bad thing.

This is what happens with poor institutions, weak governments, and environmental concerns/disasters. May God guide Africa and heal it anew.

Amazing how people in government are stealing millions of £ and $ and they are allowed to get away with. I proposed if they were found guilty, they should be lynched. After all, they are the real culprit unlike someone trying to make ends meet.

Not sure the punishment fits the crime here. Why I hate any kind of mob justice. It’s always too extreme and never fair.

More police patrols and fast first responders would reduce the rate of mob justice. But sadly we have checkpoints all over the city with cars that never work.

Obviously the government is doing nothing to stop this menace. As long as law is not enacted to curb it, we will continue to see things like this.
