Burundi is heading to the polls today for a referendum which could see President Pierre Nkurunziza stay in power until 2034. So what exactly are they voting for - and why are some people so worried?https://bbc.in/2KxmdkO

What's the rule of law in the land of Burundi? Africa's election laws need serious reforms. #thereishope.

The tragedy is that he has many examples in other African countries to choose from. Add to this the fact that he may not have any other thing to do for the rest of his life, if he steps down. If he had a profession, he's forgotten it after ruling for 13 yrs.

There's absolutely no developments in that country, people are suffering and instead of doing something to alleviate their predicaments, he's extending it to 2034. Who cursed Africans?

'Which could see' heh BBC, #Nkurunziza has never lost anything in his life. You should be concerned that he's wasting people's money, time and your intelligence covering a charade. He should join his ancestors, #Biya, #Kabila, #Gnassingbe, #Kagame, #Museveni and others. Nonsense!
