        I cant wait for this documentary. Even in Malawi the youths are into this syrup, hope the world will know aswell as learn more about this syrup.

        Read my comment above. You CANNOT BAN codeine. You regulate the profession of pharmacy. I fought Dora Akunyili on this in life and death. The First NAFDAC DG was a pharmacist. We foreign trained ones cannot believe we once had a pharmacist up there. Codeine is needed by many.

        Late Mrs akunyili didn't ban any drugs, she was fighting to make sure we get the good ones not those counterfeit that flooded the markets

        That's not what this discussion is about. She didn't regulate the profession called pharmacy. Instead she was busy regulating satchet water and fighting medicine sellers in Onitsha as well as collecting monetized awards.

        I don't know about that. But I know that there's a difference between fake drugs ( she fought against) and regulations of drugs ( min of health responsibility) And moreover she's a one Man Force and those peddlers has powerful connections to contact
