Today’s African #proverb: Even if you dance in the water, your enemies will accuse you of causing dust. Sent by MacRester Zacarias, Blantyre, Malawi, and Kelvin Lumbwe, Ndola, Zambia. How do you interpret this proverb? https://bbc.in/2qXZ8zk

The meaning is that an enemy will absolutely see and or think nothing good of you for he is habitual accuser after no good at all.

It simply means that because of hatred your enemies shall always invent means to look for a reason to accuse you though you are innocent, I would even say, your enemy remains your enemy no matter how good you would be to him or her, for no raison they shall always harm you!
