"The only people that seem to be getting richer are these people who are preaching this gospel of prosperity," says Nigerian radio presenter Daddy Freeze. Should Christians give 10% of their income to the church, or is it a way for preachers to get rich? https://bbc.in/2qJzZbD pic.twitter.com/pZnCVtYB6b

Paying tithe is biblical. I think the issue here is not the 10% per se but what the churches or preachers use the money for. A careful analysis and some form of accountability from these preachers would help

He’s right, they tend to be the richer while the congregation remain poor, it’s as simple as that

If Christians want to "tithe," they should select their charitable giving VERY carefully... so it goes DIRECTLY to those who need help, not some middleman pastor who's living in a mansion! Or give to a nonprofit that spends most of its income on direct services to those in need

My friend this is biblical: Malachi 3:8-10 . And that money is used to pay light, water, the temple we worship... And if they are getting rich because of that let God judge them

Sir stop all this false witnesses on pastors,.... the tithe paying is to the church at whole and the pastors are not in anyway spending it.... but is for the widening of the gospel and the running

That's why at school, the first aspiration of every student is to become a pastor. The business is so lucrative. I was so surprised.

The evangelical ministries run as individual enterprises are bent on extorting money from followers. They first enter into your mind and heart by purpoting to be preaching the gospel of material prosperity.

Its ok to give in a church that has firm structures on how to spend the money. The givers have to participate in budgeting for the miney

When I tell pastors I need to marry many wives like David and Solomon they quickly tell you that is the Old Testament and all but when it comes to tithe they jump to the same Old Testament
