This is mental bondage and Nigerians need to be set free. Many have been tithing for years but are still living in poverty while the "men of God" live lavishly. I thought Christians didn't have to follow the Old Testament anymore because of Jesus' death #Nigeria #ProsperityGospel

Millions of Nigerians mistake seeking and maintaining a relationship with God with the traditions of religion. What they fail to understand is that God is their personal caretaker, however ppl have been brainwashed to profiting the church in order to satisfy God.

A lot of them are in it for self enriching. They are charlatans. But desperation drives poor Africans to those churches for the promises those pastors make. I feel sorry for Africans for so embracing religions that are foreign to Africa. Pure spiritual colonization. Not Godly.

I'll add, many go to those churches so they can eventually attain the material wealth that they see the pastors have. The pastors claim their success came from God when really it comes from the offerings & tithes.
