I do believe is not the British who brought these laws as our culture (Ghana) frown on gay and lesbian. But i need more education on it. Was is it the British who introduced those laws or they just enforce it then?

Here's some evidence that goes against what you believe:https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/hide-and-seek/201707/gender-variation-and-same-sex-relations-in-precolonial-times …
-
Now, this picks up isolated cases in Africa and calls them "culturally sanctioned". These acts were frowned on by the people and the norms of the greater society. That some king or warrior was involved in an unsubstantiated isolated case doesn't make a general case for Africa.
-
The Kong's case is not unsubstantiated, it's well documented. This is in response to homosexuality is unAfrican. It clearly isn't. Whether people approve or not is an entirely different issue
-
Homosexuality is simply unAfrican...

You lumped ppl with different cultures and religions together for economic gains and the terrible effects of this amalgamation is still being felt. Now you are casually saying sorry.

Of all the colonial havocs, abuses and the neocolonial economic and political subversion that has brought untold hardships to Africa and contributing immensely to the migrant crisis even in Europe,
@theresa_may could only regret gay laws? Now that's regrettable! -

The question now is, why have the former colonies THEMSELVES not changed these laws? Or do they share the same legal outlook as their former colonial master?
-
These laws are attached to foreign aid, they change them they don't get the aid.

I don't think it's the British that brought such anti gays laws into some of their former colonies, most of every culture frowns on it, madam PM plz don't take this credit too

Oh please May! Let’s talk about slavery and colonialism and not “anti gay” laws in former colonies. The cultures of those colonies never permitted it to begin with (perhaps except Thailand and its ladyboy culture).

Please expound, expert of both African and Thai culture
