This is exasperating. damaging our Ugandan brands at the cost of your bargained money. Haute couture = one in the whole world and I don't think those guys bargain so if you wanna dress like them, act the part

        Listening to #BBCAfrica #bbc clip about @anitaberyl a fashion designer from #Kampala #Uganda . It is true, #Ugandans don't really believe in their professionals and as a result, #Creativity is somewhat discouraged. From #engineers, #doctors, #nurses #CreativeArts #PerformingArts

If only we could afford them..😒 For an "ORDINARY" Ugandan 3M is an amount that would change their lives, tell me they can waste it all in one dress, as in just ONE DRESS 😂

        It's a price for the #Rich , #Fashionistas , 'Fashion Fanatics' . But what can one say. " #Fashion Industry " is steadily evolving. #Africans #Nigerians #Congolese #Ugandans ,are embracing their #fabrics @newvisionwire Magazine #UgandaIn2018 projected better days for #EconomyUG

Yr biggest customer base will probably be that tribe of which we don't speak. They wield the power, run the country and shamelessly can afford to buy yr threads at ridiculous prices which obviously you too will ask for..that's fashion..#avoiceofthevoiceless #notashamed2speakup

I feel you and what not Anita, but let's face it-Africa,3rd world country, per capita ever at the rock bottom.."we" just love them re-used,re-worn and less expensive. 2nd hand threads, the smell is just so enticing..ooh ooh Chinese crap plagues our markets too.

The fashion fabric doesn't tie a firm knot in #Uganda. There's a section of people who believe in fashion but majority sit on second hand clothe benches but am sure with time this will change and with @anitabery and others, they'll have to stitch harder.
