Wouldn't be the first time governments banning the Muslims call to prayer, either way it's good publicity..

Surprisingly adhan takes just 3 to 5 minutes but still the Rwanda Government finds it hard to tolerate is there no freedom of worship in Rwanda, unless if there is a hidden agenda behind this.

Duration of Adhan not the issue. Issue is use of loudspeakers, for the Adhan, as well as the Khutba & Salaat. This is noise pollution. Further, loudspeakers are not permissible inside/outside the mosque, because it is bidah.

So, it's ridiculous to say Rwanda Govt tolerates no freedom of worship. Islam itself does not permit loudspeakers, so there is no freedom of worship being infringed upon. Islam also does not permit noise pollution. So what exactly is the problem, according to you?

they have closed more than 700 churches .. and the move started on night clubs, where by all clubs, churches or other places should use Soundproof and other technologies to keep their noises inside their buildings in order to avoid bothering people around who’re not interested.

Fair enough. They can call to prayer without loudspeakers just like muslims used to do before this technology came. And yes, the same goes for churches.

Where is freedom of Relgion in their constituition? Calls for prayers are mandatory to Muslims

And the use of loudspeakers to disturb the neighbourhood is also mandatory? Where is that mandated? Rwanda is multisectoral. Anyone can worship to whomever&however they wish, but such worship should not inconvenience those who do not wish to be disturbed.

There's something appealing about the new #Rwandan policies, it has human touch, most #African communities are so noisy. @BBCAfrica
