If you cannot obey the Law, you're not fit to practise Law. I commend the action taken against the lady that wore hijab, the institution already has a dress code, you can't come and impose your ideology on them. She should drink water on her L.

She is not imposing anything on anyone, she is merely exercising her freedom of religion. Its not like she's asking others 2 do same.
-
"Merely exercising her freedom of religion" you say? Sounds like Disobeying laid down rules and regulations.
-
If u are a man of God then i'm sure you'll agree that d law of God is above all. If d Christians hav such complains i am in support of them.

Stop being intolerant, others have their religion too. If everybody is allowed to dress in their religious regalia, how will the event look like? what's wrong for her to remove her hijab for some hrs? Doesn't she know that law profession has dress code? Stop the intolerance pls
-
actually you are the intolerant one, asking a Muslim woman to take off her hijab even for a second is unacceptable. why cant the law be amended, after all laws get amended all the time
-
Some of you are the reason why people attack Islam. So the law should be amended just accommodate her Hijab? What of other religion, should the law also be amended for each and every one of them to accommodate their religion?
-
Yes, it should also be amended to accommodate other religions, how bout that??

But they allow funny looking wigs.... Kenya we discarded that colonial thing. Our judges looks normal, unlike some Africa countries, a full grown up man putting on a wig and look a witch!

Buhari' s daughter was called to the bar, l believe in 2016 and she wore no hijab. Buhari is an excellent Muslim. More Catholic than Pope?
-
Buhari's daughter is not a representation of what the Muslims believe about hijab. She has a choice to make and Firdaus also has a choice. The point is that the law school should not prevent female Muslims from wearing the hijab
-
@olub3, l don't want to go into hijab politics but " The forest that abhors basket must not grow mushrooms". She knew what it all entails. - 1 more reply

This is a catholic ordained sister on her call to bar dress code. The girl in question took religious bigotry to its peak & if allowed, it can destroy the profession, Only Council of legal education knows who is fit and proper to be called to Bar, the girl is not fit and properpic.twitter.com/wFhnQMxesp
