Botswana's President Ian Khama has written an open letter to his Zimbabwean counterpart, Robert Mugabe, calling on him to resign. He said Mr Mugabe should listen to the wishes of his people and "do the honourable thing by voluntarily relinquishing power" http://bbc.in/2B1wDEp pic.twitter.com/rhVv5FjHjb

Remember Khama's government hs been @pains to accommodate the aftereffects of Zimbabwean government failures. So it may not hold true that he must leave Zimbabweans to solve their own problems. He is part of the solution, He has been. He just lacked genuine SADC collective voice!

This new-found fad for indignation and condemnation directed at Comrade Mugabe makes me wonder where these leaders have been hiding during recent decades. Unconvincing.

Haven't heard many African leaders call on Mugabe to resign. Many are silent. Our president Mutharika is yet to even speak on this issue.
