Until the masses earn more money, low-cost airlines are formed, hubs created to enhance connectivity, air travel will be a pipe dream.

Absolutely agree with u. Always say salaries too low so why fly to neighbouring country when same amount take u outside continent?

Yes. Jet fuel is 30% more expensive in Africa. Operation and maintenance costs also expensive. These are all passed on to the passenger.
