So what nationality is the baby because I read that people born on sea and in air are always classified as 'stateless'.

if over the sea or ocean, they're registered as born in the country the plane is registered to. Supposedly.

Oh thanks for that! And how about those born on sea (boats/ships) and deep into international waters where no country has jurisdiction?

usually you get your citizenship from your parents anyway, so baby wouldn't be left stateless. But if refugee, then .. it's complicated...
