There was hugging, kissing and ululating at the re-opened border between Ethiopia and Eritrea as relatives and friends, separated for more than 20 years, greeted each other. https://bbc.in/2CK4OpT pic.twitter.com/6hiOkLPWT5

Good for Ethiopians and Eritrea but bad for Kenya because as the economy for this two countries grow, Kenyan economy will spiral downwards. Watch this space.

Not really. We need to get out of the mentality that one man's peace is another man's loss. Kenya too should enjoy the peace in the region. Which by the way had been so kind to host ppl from Eth, Somalia and Eritrea in this triangular conflict.

may be congra for the Ethiopian people but not for the Eritrean people who are still no freedom of anything what so ever. Read the UN Report about the dictator in Eritrea.

Hopefully, this is a concrete stepping stone towards a successful political discourse that successfully abolishes the suppression in Eritrea. The people of the country deserve nothing less. Too many decades of hardship and cruelty under the present dictator must come to an end.
