"I'm waiting for Kenyans to embrace drag queens". It's not easy being a drag queen in a country where homosexual acts are illegal. Gay men in Kenya who like to cross-dress have to do it behind closed doors. This group of young men say drag is a way "to showcase their talent".pic.twitter.com/0Uf3IvFftL

I think we should all recognize that there are cultures and norms associated with every ethnic group. Some of these rich cultures particularly in Africa are being 'destroyed' by western practices and we shouldn't be quick to criticise when people strive to maintain theirs.

I see where ur coming from but you have to realise that some aspects of cultures oppress people whether its women, children or the lgbt community and if we want a better world were gonna have to eliminate those oppressive aspects

Its about values and these values which are most of the time natural have run through generations. When people want to go against the values or adopt unnatural ways, they give new names and descriptions.

Fact is transgender people have existed since forever but because those "values " were so aggressively imposed they couldn't express themselves, now the world is more open and accepting that's why they are coming out coz the world is safer

I think otherwise. Something existing for a long time doesn't make it right and doesn't mean it should be accepted. I maintain that each community should maintain their values and shouldn't be forced to change to what others do.

When you actually think about it the most primitive and narrow minded laws are those that prevent people from being themselves, I mean does it really harm the society if a man decides he wants to wear heels 💭💭💭💭

Yes it does.. Wait until your child does likewise after copying the seemingly harmless act. What if you discover that your father or brother is gray. Do not under_rate the power of passive influence. The subconscious mind is under attack.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem with that, its better than them growing up to be narrowminded like you 😕😕

Ikr🙄 so much talk of Christian values and how this is a western problem being imposed on us. But people seem to forget where Christianity came from and how it was forced on us🤷🏾‍♀️

You could have used the airtime to showcase the extent of land theft and destruction of local cultures by the West in the name of conservation in what's now the Northern Range-lands Trust (NRT). Kenyans honesty dont care who fucks who where and how @wmnjoya @WWF_Kenya
