THREAD: Dear followers, please note that reports circulating in the media that #BBCAfricaEye is distancing itself from Anas Aremeyaw Anas are completely untrue. In fact, we are currently working with Anas on a new project.pic.twitter.com/vze931CjJT

When we produced our exclusive Africa Eye film, Betraying the Game, we made it perfectly clear from the outset that this was a documentary about his investigation.

Anas has himself confirmed this and agreed that our documentary would include questions about his methods as well as his extraordinary revelations, which were clearly overwhelmingly in the public interest to report.

There's difference between "sponsorship" & "working with". Baako apologized for the wrong info on sponsorship he did not in anyway deny their collabo with BBC. BBC did the international premiere so that's good enough evidence for their collaboration claim. Or?

And nobody is talking about collaboration anywhere... we are talking about sponsorship. #BBCAfricaEye should comment on sponsorship

That's not in question. What Ghanaians want to is -did you collaborate with him in producing the #number12 documentary or you only reported on his work after he has independently done it? The two are not the same.
