Young people are often the fire that spur major changes in society. They fearlessly advocate crucial issues, & it's time that passion is rewarded at the ballot box. I am proud to be reintroducing legislation that would change the legal voting age to 16. bit.ly/3RbiWLt

Land Value Tax would fix this I introduced AB 362 to officially study the benefits/impacts of a statewide land value tax which would provide fairer assessments, boost housing supply, and give more freedom to landowners to build on properties without the fear of increasing taxes

"EVERYBODY WORKS BUT THE VACANT LOT"
I paid $3600. for this lot and will hold it ‘till I get $6000. The profit is unearned increment made possible by the presence of this community and the enterprise of its people. I take the profit without earning it. For the remedy read

This is fascist rhetoric becoming normalized in right-wing spaces.

The political power of single women, especially single mothers, must be diminished in order to regain traditional values, traditional family, and to reestablish social order.

I intentionally used Revue over Substack because I thought it was cool and innovative. I especially liked the Twitter integration. I didn’t even know they were shutting down until today. So I lost all of my subscriber lists for my personal newsletter and for another account. Yay.

Alternate headline: Teachers allowed to keep student confidentiality on matters of gender identity. Believe it or not, not everybody has an accepting family. Conversion therapy is still legal most places and LGBT people deserve the right to come out at their own pace.
Teachers could hide student's gender identity from parents under proposed Pennsylvania school district policy

One way to achieve more affordable housing is by increasing supply in order to meet the demand. In order to do this, we need to ensure that zoning laws are not negatively impacting our communities by preventing new housing from being built in the first place. 🏙️🏗️

The death penalty is immoral. It doesn’t matter if someone is guilty or not. We can’t just start killing people as a way of enacting “justice”. It makes us no better than them if we start to justify turning into monsters in order to eliminate monsters. It isn’t civilized.

I don’t agree with the premise that neoliberalism and libertarianism are entirely different things - but that depends on if you define libertarianism as one particular ideology or a spectrum. I personally define it as the latter. Nonetheless, it’s a good article.

Neoliberalism and libertarianism share many common principles despite meaning different things to different people. But what is neoliberalism in reality — and how does it relate to classical liberalism and libertarianism? buff.ly/3paoqsE

Thank you everyone who came to our first event! We surveyed our attendees, and some of our top issues were criminal justice reform, immigration, electoral reform, foreign policy, climate change, housing, and economic opportunities. Our chapter has a bright future ahead!

The confidence of an entire generation of women are being destroyed because TERFs and Cons have gatekeep womanhood so much that if you have one masculine feature people will call you a man. This is honestly depressing.

Libertarianism without the liberalism is not libertarianism. That’s why paleo-conservative ideologies are incompatible with libertarianism. Illiberalism cannot be liberal, by definition. And right-wing libertarianism is comprised of classical liberalism & radical liberalism.

Can’t even make a post about the stigma of medication without people turning into some completely random debate that was irrelevant to the point I was trying to make… about SOCIAL STIGMA.
