70,000 operations cancelled because of Tory austerity, chronic staff shortages and wider cuts to health & social care services. Behind every cancelled operation is a patient forced to wait longer in pain and distress for treatment. You simply can’t trust the Tories with our NHS.

Just told my 83-year old German mum, who has lived here since 1964, that she’ll have to go through (& pay for) this process - to prove to the Home Office who she is, & that she’s not a criminal. I tried hard, but couldn’t really explain why. It’s an awful stain on our country.

A new study by Lancaster University tells us that Tory austerity has resulted in what they call “social murder” due to the staggering increase in suicides, death from malnutrition and homeless people dying on the streets or in hostels. This is heartbreaking and must be shared.

It’s wrong to charge people to visit loved ones in hospital and the staff who care for them. Labour will scrap hospital car parking charges.

I need a massive favour from everybody! If you’re out and around in Burnley and you see any homeless people, please tell them to come to The Muscle Factory Gym on Christmas Day. Me and the team have organised free food, haircuts, showers, clothes and gifts. Make atleast one smile
