I think the point is that education is a constituent part of culture. If those at the top can't distinguish between banter and abuse then they can't educate others. I also can't help but wonder if a players importance to the club has been prejudicial in deciding actions to take.

This is exactly it, they just want to dismiss it all as no big deal. At least sponsors are hitting them where it hurts, embarrassing for Yorkshire Cricket but I hope it leads to huge changes
