The change is very sinister to me. characters with hair and noses like the original Ms Frizzle are conspicuously rare given how much of the world looks like that. a few people are misunderstanding me i think bc of the word 'sinister'. by that i didn't mean conspiratorial. i meant creepy/bleak. the vacant look is creepy to me and what the quality of it implies is a bummer. that's all.
