As a teacher I hate having police officers in our schools. I doesn't succeed in making anyone feel safer, it just creates fear and paranoia. Children should not be worried about legal consequences for making the mistakes they make. They should be worried about how to fix them.

They make sure that they have SRO ‘s 2-3 in schools!

Do social workers or nurses stop people who have a guns or stop bullets?
-
Considering they tend to be students or former students, the answer is yes. The good that nurses and social workers bring into school is preventative and restorative.
