    My latest: Many Syrian refugees who flew from Beirut to Minsk are in a precarious situation. Their passports were stamped with a re-entry ban when they left Lebanon, and with the visas that brought them to Belarus now expired, they are facing the specter of deportation to Syria

    It is beyond shameful that has not yet passed laws protecting girls from the dire lifelong consequences of child marriage. Lebanon lags far behind other countries in the region who have made advances in protecting girls from the horrors of child marriage.

    The investigation is still suspended, 15 days after Judge Habib Mezher decided - off his own accord & with no legal basis - to suspend the probe and request all Bitar's case files. What is the court waiting for to nullify this illegal decision??
