I keep seeing people talk about losing custom thumbnails. Are we losing that too?! Because I thought we gained access to those after verifying our accounts, which I already have.

Those features are not going away and are not part of YPP. Any creator can access Creator Studio, schedule video uploads and so long as your YouTube account is verified: https://goo.gl/g95Axo
