When I watch a video, I tend to look at what's recommended to me. Generally, this was other videos in the series, or similar videos by different videos. Now, only 6 out of 20 videos are even vaguely related to gaming, and the rest is total nonsense. And none are from that series.
The @TeamYouTube algorithm has definitely changed. Six months ago, I could at least track WHY I would be recommended a video based on my history. Now...
Look. I almost exclusively watch gaming videos on @YouTube. 95% of channels I'm subscribed to are gaming. Why is this here?pic.twitter.com/m8Q1FwfCdB

Thanks for the screenshot. You can remove recommended content by selecting "Not interested" on your home page, this will influence how YouTube suggests videos to you in the future. Here's more about managing your recommendations: https://goo.gl/mfD7rf

My issue is that you are showing more and more irrelevant videos to me seemingly based on nothing, and certainly not taking into account what I'm consistently watching. Meanwhile, websites like
@sfdebris have 1000+ to watch and a reason to watch all of them. Why should I stay? - 1 more reply
