It’s a good area. The Village outdoor mall and across the street another Westfield mall. Lots of construction happening in the area. Tons of good places to eat on Ventura Blvd. My kids go to school in West Hills right next to it l.

We are also looking at west hills... very overwhelming to try and figure out what is good for a disabled toddler

If Amazon goes with the Woodlands for HQ 2 that place is going to get crowded and housing prices will go up fast.

Might I recommend Redondo? I don't live there but I have friends who do. Woodland Hills is a bit more bustling with traffic, retail locations, and Hotels. Redondo Beach always felt more quiet and private. I live in Palms, which is way worse than both locations.

I like living near every resource (malls, hardware stores, restaurants, grocery, restaurants, etc), but do miss the more rural experience I grew up with (in a small town). Sounds like you might have found a neighborhood that has some of that, though, which sounds ideal.

It might be too far away for your needs, but
@DKo5 can give you a PoV on living ~30 minutes west of Woodland Hills. If we (wife & I & 3 kids) look for a new house in the near-ish future, our first interest is in that direction. - Show replies
