      I confess I thought one of the points of HDR was to not have to simulate your eye adapting to brightness changes...that HDR had enough range to just let your *actual* eye adjust to brightness

      So I'm a bit confused in God of War how when you exit a cave into a beautiful daylit scene, it starts bright but then adjusts downwards to be dark again

      There may be a setting in your TV that automatically dims that you could check into.

      I think I disabled everything I could but in game mode you can't access all options so maybe
