If you were shrunk or enlarged interacting with water would be pretty complicated because its surface tension would affect you differently, but fiction in which people are shrunk usually does not engage with this and this is a problem. This is an opinion I have

Have you seen Annihilation? There's a bit like this where the physicist solves a biology problem specifically because she doesn't know enough biology to know something's "impossible", so she's able to jump over a conceptual wall the biologist wouldn't have considered

I once thought about how we broke up concepts into such small isolated groups purely because of how we had to for efficiently storing and accessing the knowledge in chunks..but now with god data powers thanks to technology I'm convinced we don't need the isolated groups anymore.
