It feels seriously strange and isolating sometimes as a solo dev to realize how few of us there are. Like nobody was interested enough by art, code, music, writing, and game design to learn them all and then also combine them into somethimg

The biggest barrier for me is the music. There are many easy tools for coding, various art styles you can try, different approaches to writing you can take, and design is so fascinating you will never want to stop learning it, but I’m just so clueless about the music.

Thanks, interesting stuff. If only there were more hours in the day, haha. I don’t mind collaborating with composers but I guess even then it won’t hurt to understand some music theory.
