roughing in some animation for the larger variant of the "hopper" character. i'm doing a landing animation right now (possibly reversed for jumping?). i think they'll also have a sort of flexing idle animation when grounded, like the lovely hoppers in super metroid. #tygrfav2pic.twitter.com/t3FfMYQZxR

When making hoppers and jumper things, I always make prodigious use of squash/stretch (squash flatter before jump, stretch up vertical during jump, squash again on land). The idle can be basically a milder version of the land or anticipation on a loop.

Since this thing has so many leg joints, you can bend and stretch them to probably get a really cool look
